<p>A variable displacement turbo supercharger, wherein a beak-shaped projected part (4) is disposed on a part of the outer periphery of flow passage spacers (3) and the projected part (4) is projected or made movable toward a turbine vane side at a specified angle, or a rod-shaped member (11) is disposed on a part of the outer periphery of the flow passage spacers (3) and the rod-shaped member (11) is positioned adjacent to the turbine blade side at a specified angle, or a guide vane (12) having a rotating shaft (7) without a leading edge is disposed on a part of the outer periphery of the flow passage spacers (3) and the rotating shaft (7) is positioned adjacent to the turbine vane side at a specified angle, and a heat resistant cast steel less in carbon content is used as a material of a casing (1) and a guide vane base (6) dividing a turbine chamber, the flow passage spacers (3) are not used and, instead, both side walls themselves dividing the turbine chamber are so structured that a clearance between these walls and a guide vane (2) is maintained at a minimum, whereby a gas flow is suppressed from being separated from the rear of the flow passage spacers (3) and inside the guide vane to reduce an overall energy loss and provide a uniform and high averaged flow velocity distribution at the inlet of the turbine vane so as to obtain a high turbine efficiency.</p> |
