In this case, this device is provided with a power consumption monitoring circuit 21 which detects the total power consumption quantity of each device of the information processor 1, and outputs a detection signal when the total power consumption quantity of the information processor 1 is beyond a predetermined first fixed value, or when this is below a predetermined second fixed value, and a power consumption control circuit 34 which receives the detection signal outputted by the power consumption monitoring circuit 2, and reduces the power consumption of the information processor 1.
