摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydrothermally solidified body having excellent quality by utilizing a waste glass. SOLUTION: This hydrothermally solidified body is obtained by using a waste glass and a calcium raw material as a main raw material, formulating an aggregate in a prescribed proportion therewith to provide a mixture, regulating the water content thereof, mixing the resultant mixture by a mixer to provide a body, molding the body into a prescribed shape, subjecting the molded body to a heating and pressurizing treatment to progress hydrothermal reaction and to solidify the molded body. The strong hydrothermally solidified body is obtained by forming crystalline or amorphous calcium silicate hydrate by reacting silica and calcium by the hydrothermal reaction. Thereafter, a drying treatment of the product is carried out to provide the objective product. The formulation ratio of the waste glass to the calcium raw material is preferably (95:5)-(65:35). Preferably, the particle diameter of the aggregate is under 5 mm, and the formulating proportion thereof is 10-25%. The preferable condition of the heating and pressurizing treatment is the one at the temperature of 150-200 deg.C, under the pressure of 5-15 atm and for the time of 1-20 hr. The generation of the efflorescence phenomena of the obtained hydrothermally solidified body is suppressed by subjecting the solidified body to a water absorption-preventing treatment.
