PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit excellent corrosion resistance even to water to be reused by forming a water repellant film at least on the surface in contact with water of a base material made of a copper alloy. SOLUTION: As the water repellant coating film, a silicone resin can be utilized, and, particularly, the one having a fluoro group is preferable. When forming the coating film, if the face in contact with water of the parts in water is treated with a silane compd. RSiX, it combines with a silanol group (-Si-OH) present on the face of the parts in water and is moreover condensed to form a layer of polysiloxane, where R denotes a hydrophobic group such as an alkyl group and a fluoroalkyl group, and X denotes halogen, an alkoxyl group or the like. As a result, the surface of the base material made of a copper alloy is covered with the hydrophobic group to form a water repellant layer. Since the water repellant layer is integrated with metallic atoms composing the copper alloy by a covalent bond, it is made into a thin film extremely excellent in wear resistance.
