PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently carry out uniform drying even if a large amount of tableware or the like are housed in a draining cage. SOLUTION: Hot air is blasted into a tableware drying chamber 7 by a hot air generator 6 and a water receiving plate 19 made of a metallic member is heated by a second heater installed on the rear surface of the water receiving plate 19. The radiation heat thereof is radiated to the entire part in the tableware drying chamber 7. The drying of the tableware or the like 9 housed in the draining cage 9 is effected by this radiation heat and the hot air from the hot air generator 6.
