construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves installation of reinforcing members under foundation. Novelty is that stiff guides joined together through openings in foundation body are placed on each side of foundation before introducing reinforcing members. The latter are, essentially, slabs with comb-like underside. Then reinforcing members are introduced over guides until teeth enter their comb-like parts under foundation. Upon removing the guides, reinforcing members are joined by means of tension bars through openings in foundation. EFFECT: improved bearing capacity of foundation - footing due to introduction of reinforcing members. 1 cl, 2 dwg
