The plug has the terminal ends of each of the plug pins (6) provided with a a plate-shaped end piece (8), engaged between the cooperating clamp arms (10,10') of a U-shaped clamp spring (9), within a termination chamber (7) between a terminal plate (4), with an insertion opening (20) for each conductor lead and a base plate receiving the plug pins. Each conductor lead is clamped between one of the clamp spring arms and the end plate of the respective plug pin, the central section of each clamp spring fitted over a half pin (14), aligned with a respective tool blade insertion slit (21) in the terminal plate.
