The invention concerns a retractable watch band comprising a rigid branch integral with the watch case. The invention is characterised in that the branch is tubular in cross-section (1) to enable the other part of the band (flexible) to be housed therein and vacuum, spring, or elastic automatic return means (3) for adjusting the tension of the band to match the shape of the wrist.
