PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve dropping of cutting liquid leaked to the inside of a mist generator through a valve passage and contamination of working environment by providing a cutting liquid push-out means devised to supply cutting liquid in a cutting liquid supply line to the mist generator through the valve passage on a spindle head part in the neighbourhood of the mist generator. SOLUTION: A spindle unit 1 is constituted by holding a spindle 9 on a spindle holding cylinder 8 free to rotate, providing an input part of rotating motive power on a rear part of the spindle 9, installing a mist generator 10 and a cutting liquid push-out means 11 inside of the spindle 9 and installing a rotating coupler 12 devised to supply cutting oil and compressed air to the inside of the spindle 9 from outside of the spindle 9 on a rear part of the spindle holding cylinder 8. A valve passage immediately closes without receiving influence of air drops contained in the cutting liquid at the time when supply of the cutting liquid by the cutting liquid supply line is stopped and efficiently prevents conventional liquid dropping and an harmful effect related to it as the cutting liquid push-out means exists in the neighbourhood of the mist generator.
