PRODUCTION METHOD FOR TITANIUM OXIDE PHOTOCATALYST FOR FORMING THIN FILM

PURPOSE: A method for providing a titanium oxide photocatalyst in a liquid state for forming thin film, which decomposes harmful chemicals. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: mixing the titanium alkoxide with nitric acid and dissolving the mixture in ethanol; drying the solution by heating; making fine grain titanium oxide, which is mixed in potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide or absolute ethanol for solution. The solution is used for dip-coating or spray coating on materials including, glass, metal, fibre and paper.
