PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the safe and easy recycling and classifying treatment of used syringes within the facilities of a hospital, etc., by fusing the used syringes, recovering the resins after the fusing, transferring separated piston rubber and the syringes to a separator box and separating the syringes to the piston rubber and injection needles. SOLUTION: The upper part of the flank of a fusing furnace 3 is provided with a hot air blasting port 9 of a hot air generator 7 so as to face the same and the recovered used syringes 32 are fed into the fusing furnace 3. The main bodies and pistons of the syringes 32 having a low fusing temperature are fused and the resins of the fused syringes 32 are passed and dropped through a mesh bottom plate 10 and a mesh conveyor 12 and are collected as fused resin drops 30 into the resin recovering box 11. On the other hand, the piston rubber and injection needles separated by the fusing are made to remain on the mesh conveyor 12 and are dropped into the separator box 17 from a gate 13. The separator box 17 is thereafter vibrated to drop only the injection needles into an injection needle recovering box 18.
