PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polymer composition excellent in scratch resistance in processing and shell-forming properties in burning by compounding an ethylene-unsaturated ester random copolymer, an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid random copolymer and an inorganic compound. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 70-99 pts.wt., preferably 70-95 pts.wt., ethylene-unsaturated ester random copolymer having a melt flow rate (190 deg.C, 2,160 g-load) of 0.1-50 g/10 min, preferably 0.2-25 g/10 min, and an unsaturated ester content of 5-40 wt.%, 1-30 pts.wt., preferably 5-30 pts.wt., ethylene- unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer having a melt flow rate (190 deg.C, 2,160 g-load) of 0.1-2,000 g/10 min, preferably 1-1,000 g/10 min, and an unsaturated carboxylic acid content of 1-30 wt.%, preferably 1-20 wt.%, and 25-300 pts.wt., preferably 50-200 pts.wt., inorganic compound having an average particle size of 0.05-20μm, preferably 0.1-5μm, provided the sum of the above two copolymers is 100 pts.wt.
