PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade mechanism for a camera constituted so that one blade directly actuated by a driving member and the other blade indirectly actuated through one blade are suitably coupled even on the case that a violent phenomenon is caused when an operation is stopped. SOLUTION: The shutter blades 3 and 4 of this blade mechanism for a camera are rotatably fitted to the shafts 1b and 1c of a shutter bottom board 1. Besides, the blades 3 and 4 are coupled by a coupling shaft 6. The shaft 6 is provided with a shaft part 6a, a head part 6b and a caulking part 6c and inserted in an oblong hole 4b formed at the blade 4 and a circular hole formed at the blade 3 from the blade 4 side so that the caulking part 6c of the inserting end thereof is caulked in the blade 3. The blade 4 is set so that it can be rotated with respect to the shaft part 6a.
