PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover replacing gas conveniently by arranging a replacing gas absorbent in a replacing gas recovery container having a body formed of a deformable film and then replacing the air in an indoor heat exchanger or connecting piping temporarily with a replacing gas. SOLUTION: The body 42 of a replacing gas recovery container is formed of a deformable film and internally arranged with a replacing gas absorbent. The container body 42 is provided with a cover 61 for closing the opening of a base metal 42A having screw groove 42B in the outer circumference. When a connector is connected with the replacing gas recovery container and the other end of the connector is connected with a refrigerant charge port, the valve steam of the connector pushes a valve core in the refrigerant charge port. Consequently, the replacing gas recovery container communicates with the refrigerant charge port and carbon dioxide gas in the connection piping or the piping of the indoor unit is introduced from the refrigerant charge port into the replacing gas recovery container.
