A method for manufacturing cellular structures (31) in composite of metallic layers comprising at least two superposed plates (32, 33) and welding zones (36) between the plates disposed according to a predetermined superficial configuration. The method comprises the steps of: a) defining the welding zones (36) according to cells (58) with a given pitch P; b) determining an interstitial space between the plates that includes the welding zones (36); c) entering a fluid in pressure in the said space; and d) enabling at least one of the two plates (32, 33) to deform with respect to the other plate in the cells (58) adjacent to the welding zones (36) up to a pre-arranged thickness of the structure.
