PURPOSE: A hands free device of a portable telephone for a vehicle is provided to allow a driver to free call through a car audio without using the hands when using the cellular phone during driving. CONSTITUTION: A hands free device of a portable telephone(100) for a vehicle includes a hands free device(200) and a car audio(300). The hands free device includes a connector(210) connected to an earphone jack of the portable telephone, a microphone(220) mounted on a river's body or at a prescribed position inside the vehicle, converting audio signal into electric signal and outputting the electric signal to the portable telephone connected to the connector and a battery case(230) in which a compact battery is mounted and a FM transmitter(231) oscillating the other party's audio signal applied through the portable telephone and receiving the audio signal through an antenna(232). The car audio receives and converts the other party's audio signal from a FM receiver disposed in the battery case and outputs the audio signal to an inside speaker of the vehicle.
