PURPOSE: An apparatus for lifting and lowering a squeeze roller for a moisture type electronic photo type printer is provided for preventing a decrease of a pressurizing force by drawing a squeeze roller and pressing a photo sensitive belt. CONSTITUTION: A squeeze roller lifting and lowering apparatus includes a main frame(200a) of a printer main body, a belt unit(200) slidably engaged with the main frame(200a), and a pulling unit for pulling and lifting and lowering the squeeze roller(110) in order to pressurize a photo sensitive belt(100) of the belt unit(200). The belt unit(200) is slidably engaged to the main frame(200a) of the printer main body. The body includes a plurality of guide rollers(215) in which the photo sensitive belt(100) is wound, and a pair of support frames(201a, 210b) being opposite to each other for thereby installing a plurality of backup rollers(220).
