PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce early wearing of a tappet, valve system cam, rocker arm and push rod and the generation of oil mist. SOLUTION: The driving force of a valve system cam 13 is transmitted to an intake and exhaust valve 14 via a tappet 12, push rod 11 and rocker arm 9 in this order. In addition, the rocker arm 9 is rockably fitted on a rocker arm shaft 8. An oil supply passage 16 is provided from a lubricant supply passage 15 in the rocker arm shaft 8 to the outer peripheral face of the rocker arm shaft 8, and an oil passage 17 is provided so as to pass through the rocker arm 9, push rod 11 and tappet 12. One side of the oil passage 17 is communicated to the aperture of the oil supply passage 16 provided in the outer peripheral surface of the rocker arm shaft 8, and the other end side of the oil passage 17 made to face the cam face 13a of the valve system cam 13.
