PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform safely and simply an incision by forming an insulated portion of an optional length from the tip of the exposed portion of a knife wire in an operative instrument that incises an affected site by exposing the knife wire at the tip of an insertion portion to be inserted into the body, and passing high frequency waves thereto. SOLUTION: With the tip of an insertion portion inserted into the pancreatic duct, this operative instrument for an endoscope used suitably for the ablation of the duodenal papillary sphincter, has a lean and long insertion portion 3 inserted into the body through an endoscope, and the body of the insertion portion 3 has three lumens 5a, 5b... in one tube. A conductive knife wire 6 is passed through the lumen 5a whose diameter is smallest. However, in this case, the tip of the knife wire 6 is exposed outside through slits 7a and 7b. An insulated portion 9 about two - third or less of the overall length of the exposed portion from the tip is formed in the exposed portion of the knife wire 6 that is exposed to the tip of the insertion portion 3. |
