PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-rimless frame which holds lenses by fixing the front ends of filaments to both ends of half rims and is capable of stably holding the lenses without the breakage of the filaments and opening and closing temples without shaking. SOLUTION: Ring 11a and 11b are formed at the front ends of each filament and a detainer 5 formed to an approximate V shape having a recessed part 10 is hooked at the boundary between the half rim 1 and a bridge 2. A pad 6 is detained to the front end of one arm and the ring 11a of the filament 4 is detained to the front end of the other arm. The shaft hole of a coil spring 14 disposed at the temple end is fitted and mounted to a shaft 13 formed on the outer side of the half rim. The ring 11b of the filament end is detained to a key 15 formed at the front end of the coil to energize tension.
