PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily purify unsaturated soil in a landfill disposal site where kinds of harmful materials are not limited. SOLUTION: By spraying a solvent 20 such as water onto the surface of unsaturated contaminated soil 10 to be infiltrated into the soil 10, noxious matter in the soil 10 is leached or incorporated into the solvent 20. The solvent 20 is pumped up onto the ground through a lot of suction ports 31 of a pipe 30 almost horizontally buried in the soil 10 and the noxious matter incorporated in the solvent 20 is removed by a treating device 40 provided on the ground.
