PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight electromagnetic wave absorbing-type external facing panel which can be inexpensively manufactured as an external facing material of a building and is capable of preventing radio wave interference due to reflection at a building by effectively absorbing electromagnetic waves such as television radio waves. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic wave absorbing-type external facing plate 1 is arranged by joining the ferrite surface of a crosspiece-type radio wave absorbing material 3 in the external facing surface of a molded martial 2. In the crosspiece-type radio wave absorbing material 3, crosspiece-type ferrite magnetic bodies 5 are arranged in parallel on a radio wave reflecting plate 6 so that the crosspiece-type ferrite magnetic bodies 5 may be arranged longitudinally approximately in parallel with the magnetic field of radio waves, and the values of the height, thickness, and intervals of the crosspiece-type ferrite magnetic bodies 5 are set at predetermined values in the relationship between the wavelengths and incident angles of television radio waves and the molded material 2 on the front surface of the ferrite magnetic bodies 5. By this constitution, it is possible to absorb electromagnetic waves such as television radio waves over a wide band.
