PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head, an optical disk device, and manufacture of an optical head, capable of being small sized, forming highly dense recording, and aimed at preventing generation of color aberration. SOLUTION: A laser beam 3a emitted from a semiconductor laser 2 is arranged in parallel beams 3b by a collimater lens 4, is condensed as a condensed beam 3b' by a condensing lens 4', and is made vertically incident on an incident plane 6a of a transparent condensing medium 6. A condensed beam 3b' made incident from the incident plane 6a is, after being condensed on a first focus Fa, reflected towards a reflecting plane 6b by a light-shielding reflection film 7B, is reflected by a reflection film 7A, and then is condensed on a second focus Fb on a spot-forming plane 6c, and thus a light spot 9a is formed. The light condensed on this light spot 9a leaks out of the transparent condensing medium 6 as a near-field light 9b from the spot forming plane 6c through the pin hole 7a. By having a recording layer 8a of a light disk 8 irradiated with this near-field light 9b, recording/reproducing is executed. |
