PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold oxidation-reduction potential of electrolytic water for a long period by holding the inside of a container in the atmosphere of the gas having a function holding the oxidation-reduction potential, in such a state that the electrolytic water is in a specified container. SOLUTION: Acidic water is produced in an anode room 13 and also alkaline water is produced in the cathode room 14 by feeding city water being water to be electrolyzed from feed pipe lines 17a, 17b to a cathode room 13 and the anode room 14 of an electrolytic bath 11. The electrolytic acidic water is made to flow through an outflow pipe line 18a to be fed to a preserving container 21 and stored in it. In a preserving device 20a, gaseous oxygen in an oxygen feeding cylinder 22 is fed into the electrolytic acidic water stored in the preserving container 21 through an oxygen feed pipe line 24a in an ejecting state, and the fed gaseous oxygen is held at a partial pressure set with the partial pressure of the gaseous oxygen in a space part of the preserving container 21.
