PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid pisciculture feed having soft texture, high fertilizing effect and feed intake, free from the generation of mold and putrifactive smell, having excellent moisture-retaining property, water-retaining property and preservability and useful for the culture of yellowtail, carp, etc., by including a prescribed amount of a sugar alcohol and adjusting the water content within a prescribed range. SOLUTION: The objective solid feed contains 0.1-5 wt.%, preferably 0.5-4 wt.% of one or more kinds of sugar alcohols selected from sorbitol, maltitol, xylitol, arabitol, erythritol, mannitol, galactitol, ribitol, lactitol and hydrolyzed product of reduced starch and has a water-content of 10-45 wt.%, preferably 15-35 wt.%. The solid pisciculture feed generally has the dimension of preferably 2-45 mm at the widest part and 2-30 mm at the narrowest part. |
