PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding advancement and retardation of engine for an enhanced startability of compressed ignition type internal combustion engine is provided to reduce a white smoke and achieve an improved fuel efficiency by decreasing pre-heating and post-heating time of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus in a timer having a fly weight holder fixed to a cam shaft of an injection pump, and a fly weight, timer spring, journal and bearing pin connected to each other within a timer case fixed to the fly weight holder, the apparatus comprising an injection time adjusting lever(1) connected to the cam shaft so as to adjust the injection time, a fly weight(4) connected to the lever(1) via a connection member(6), draft springs(2, 5) of which one ends are fixed to the upper and lower portions of the lever(1) and other ends are fixed within a housing, supporting spring(3) of which one end is fixed to an upper portion of the fly weight(4) and other end is fixed within the housing, thus the injection time of internal combustion engine is controlled via the lever(1).
