PURPOSE: A discharge valve assembly is provided to absorb impact applied to a discharge valve when a piston collides with the discharge valve due to an abnormal stroke, thereby preventing a damage of the discharge valve. CONSTITUTION: A discharge valve assembly includes a discharge cover(50) coupled at a side of a cylinder(40) for covering the cylinder having a compression space inside to be inserted by a piston(20), a guide element(60) formed with a protrusion(62) for slidingly being inserted into the discharge cover, a discharge valve(70) inserted in the guide element for opening and closing the compression space of the cylinder, a valve spring(80) inserted in the guide element and supported by the protrusion for supporting the discharging valve, and an elastic element(90) inserted in the discharge valve for elastically supporting a movement of the guide element, wherein the guide element includes a cylindrical main body part of a predetermined length, and the protrusion part formed at one side of the main body and folded with a predetermined width.
