PURPOSE: An apparatus for embodying a performance management application function in the OSF(Operation System Function) part of the TMN(Telecommunication Management Network) is provided to ensure a parallel structure for the processing of a man machine command and the monitoring processing for a management agent. CONSTITUTION: A gateway function part(110) enables data transmission and reception with a workstation function part. An apparatus for embodying a performance management application function(120) is composed of a basic performance management application function part(121) and an extended performance management application function group(122). The extended performance management application function group(122) consists of extended performance management application function parts(122_1-122_N) which output man machine commands to a service access point manager and, if response signals corresponding to outputted information are received. transmit the signals to the gateway function part(110). The basic performance management application function part(121) analyzes a status message for a management agent and outputs the result to the gateway function part(110). A main manager(130) creates the basic performance management application function part(121) in the initialization of the operation of the TMN OSF.
