PURPOSE: A pull-up driver circuit is provided to reduce the amount of power dissipation in the driving state of the pull-up circuit by reducing the amount of electric charge required for charging/discharging through limiting the voltage swing width of the pull-up driver. CONSTITUTION: A pull-up driver circuit of power dissipation reducing type contains a voltage limiting function by first and second pull-up transistors(NMOS11,NMOS12). Thus, an output signal(Pullup_drv_out) is swung in the voltage width between a pull-down voltage and a pull-up voltage. Moreover, when the output signal of the pull-up driver is in low level, a driving transistor(40) is turned on for precharging a memory cell(30). Herein, the amount of charge required for charging/discharging the driving transistor is reduced while operating the same precharging.
