<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rate matching method for achieving highly reliable data communication. SOLUTION: In generating M pieces of output symbol strings from N pieces of input symbol strings, when a difference between N and M is defined as Y, and the integral part of N/Y is defined as Q, the input symbol strings are sequentially divided so that either Q or (Q+1) pieces of Y symbol strings can be generated, and the input symbols strings can be arrayed (C, R). Then, a symbol at a prescribed position (q) in each of the Y pieces of symbol strings is specified, and when N>M, the specific symbol is deleted, and when N<M, the processing is repeatedly executed so that the output symbols can be generated.</p> |
