<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric welding apparatus capable of simply finding out the trouble of a cooling fan without disassembling a control power supply part. SOLUTION: In an electric welding apparatus, the mutual end parts of adjacent synthetic resin members 11 are connected by a welding joint 8 and welded by supplying a welding current to the electric heating wire provided in the welding joint 8. In this case, a temp. sensor 5 detecting the circumferential temp. at a time of welding is provided to the air flow passage due to the cooling fan 6 provided in the housing 1 of the apparatus and an ON/OFF switch is provided to the cooling fan 6 and the temp. detected after the cooling fan 6 is turned OFF is detected by the temp. sensor 5 and, after the cooling fan 6 is turned ON, the temp. is continuously detected by the temp. sensor 5. The temp. detected when the detected temp. becomes almost constant is decided as the circumferential temp. and, from the difference between the temp. detected when the cooling fan 6 is turned OFF and the decided circumferential temp., the trouble of the cooling fan can be detected.</p> |
