摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily eliminate sticking of the fuel injection valves and thereby maintain superior engine startability, by energizing an electromagnetic solenoid of the fuel injection valve prior to start-up of a fuel pump. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 33 is provided with an electromagnetic solenoid 33f for sliding a sliding rod. Turning a main switch ON (S1) energizes the electromagnetic solenoid 33f of each fuel injection valve 33 of each cylinder in order in predetermined period of time (S2). Then, the fuel pump is energized (S3), after which the starter motor is energized (S4). Accordingly, even if the fuel injection valve is stuck at start-up, voltage is applied to the electromagnetic solenoid 33f of the fuel injection pump before start-up of the starter motor and fuel pump. As a result, the fuel injection valve 33 is easily able to be unstuck without causing a voltage drop, thereby enabling superior engine startability to be maintained. When there are a small number of cylinders, the electromagnetic solenoids may be energized simultaneously for a predetermined time.
