PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to safety measures for pedestrians by providing natural illuminant portions constituted with special glass grains and a resin mixed with a light-storing pigment on the surface of building materials. SOLUTION: Grooves for installing natural illuminant portions 1 are provided at particular positions for tile, concrete secondary product, brick, stone material, rubber products or the like. Length, width, shape, depth, quantity or the like of the grooves are set in conformity with the purposes and uses of the materials used. When using the light-storing effect jointly, a resin mixed with light-storing pigment 3 is produced from a light-storing pigment and epoxy resin as an adhesive and the groove is filled with the above. After adhering a special glass grain 2, the whole surface of the natural illuminant portion 1 is coated with a transparent resin. In this way, the natural illuminant portion constituted with the special glass grains and the resin mixed with light-storing pigment is built in the surface of a building material, and therefore this building material can be used as a body attracting public attention with great emphasis upon safety at sidewalk, public square, park, railway station or the like. |
