PURPOSE: A hinge apparatus for a rack door is provided to firmly prevent a rack door from being opened by an impact or a vibration and so on. CONSTITUTION: A hinge apparatus for a rack door includes a housing(1), a hinge pole(2), a compressing coil spring(3), a handle(4), and a combining unit(5). The housing has a mounting hole extended in the up and down direction. The mounting hole has a first step and a second step which is stepped from the first step. The hinge pole is laid in the mounting hole, and has a hinge protrusion on the top, a protruding part larger than the diameter size of the hinge protrusion in the low side of the hinge protrusion, a guide extended in the low side of the protruding part and a portion of which a vertical section is a quadrilateral. The portion has a combining hole. The hinge pole is perpendicularly moved in the mounting hole, but restrictively. The compressing coil spring is provided between the protruding part and the second step and generates a compressing or extending movement in the perpendicular direction. The handle has a mounting hole extended in the up and down direction so that the portion is laid and a combining hole, and is extended in the one side. A combining unit(5) holds the hinge pole as penetrating the combining hole of the portion and the combining hole of the handle in the horizontal direction and being fixed.
