PURPOSE: A system for sharing a channel between frequency assignments is provided to reduce the initial installation cost of a base station by sharing a channel between frequency assignments as well as between sectors and to obtain the maximization of channel usage by increasing channels according to the total amount of radio traffic in a base station. CONSTITUTION: A system for sharing a channel between frequency assignments is comprised of a base station controller, a modulation part, a forward switch part, a D/A conversion part, an intermediate frequency part, a frequency up part, and an antenna part. The modulation part modulates the signals of the base station controller. The forward switch part executes switching for forward signals based on frequency assignments. The D/A conversion part converts digital signals into analog signals. The intermediate frequency part sums analog signal according to each sector and changes them into 4.95MHz signals. The frequency up part converts the 4.95MHz signals into 800MHz or 1.8GHz signals.
