PURPOSE: An air power steering device for a vehicle and the control system is provided to simplify a structure and to higher a steering force for a power steering device, by using an engine negative pressure and air pressure of compressed air. CONSTITUTION: A steering piston(9) generates the reciprocation force of a tie load(16). A steering cylinder(8) contains two chambers divided by the steering piston. A left inducement valve(14) and a right inducement valve(13) connects or interrupts the chambers with a surge tank respectively. A feed valve(12) supplies the pressed air of a pressed air tank(10) to the chambers. An electric control unit(20) opens the left inducement valve and the feed valve when a steering wheel is turned left and shuts the right inducement valve and the feed valve when the steering wheel is turned right as the detecting value of a steering wheel sensor(18).
