In the case of a structure (10), designed in particular as a glass annex or extension, the transparent enclosing surfaces are equipped with filters (22) which primarily absorb selectively the invisible spectral components of incident solar energy, and convert them into long-wave heat radiation, while visible components of solar radiation can pass through the said filters substantially unhindered. On one side, the enclosing surfaces may be provided with a layer (23) reducing the emission of heat radiation, and the absorptive filters may be panes of glass or plastic which are coloured in the core and through which the visible components of solar energy pass through substantially unhindered. In the case of a preferred embodiment, the transparent enclosing surfaces (18, 19) are designed as wall elements and consequently can be adjusted, according to choice, with their one side or other side facing the enclosed space or facing towards the outside. <IMAGE> |
