PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the integrated flow properly and accurately for each time or for each volume so that the integrated flow value does not largely change at once and to prevent the erroneous integration caused by an interrupting operation when an interrupting event occurs. SOLUTION: In this flow accumulating method, an instantaneous flow is detected for each prescribed sampling time during a normal operation by the control of the integration process by a controller, the volume value of the flow from the previous sampling time to the present sampling time is calculated based on the instantaneous flow, and the volume value is split for each prescribed unit time or unit volume and is integrated in stages until the next sampling time. When an interrupting event occurs, the instantaneous flow at that time is detected before an interrupting operation, the volume value of the flow from the previous sampling time to the present sampling time at interrupting time is calculated, and the volume value at the time of the interrupting and the unintegrated volume value calculated at the previous sampling time are integrated at once.
