PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sound isolation sheet excellent in sound isolation property by providing projections respectively on both the surfaces of an olefinic resin foam sheet having an open cell volume set to a predetermined value or more so that an area of the superimposed portion is at most a predetermined value or lower. SOLUTION: An ethylenic resin foam sheet is compressed to make cells communicate, to form an open cell foamed sheet 11. Next, projections 12 are formed on one surface, and projections 13 are formed on the other surface in shifted relation in its position, thereby forming a sound isolation sheet 1 for floors with a skin layer formed on both surfaces. By removing one surface of the open cell foamed sheet 11, a skin layer may be formed only in one surface. The open cells are made 20% or more in the entire cells. As for projections in both surfaces, when the foamed sheet is projected in the direction of thickness, an areal ratio is made 50% or less in a portion where the projections are superimposed with each other. The floor foamed sheet may be made 100% through needling work, and also it may be provided with penetration holes. Thus a high sound isolation capability can be obtained, and preventing an adhesive from bleeding, and also moisture can be shut out.
