PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration in an electron beam shape because of a magnetic field from a convergence yoke and effectively carry out correction in a limited installation space without any extreme deterioration in correction sensitiveness. SOLUTION: A convergence yoke 1 is mounted to a neck part 6 of a cathode- ray tube via a holder 7 supporting a deflection yoke. A main lens side magnetic pole 4 and a screen display side magnetic pole 5 are formed in the tip part of a magnetic body 3 so that this tip part is positioned far from a main beam (from a tube axis) on an electron beam emission side (on the main lens side) of the cathode-ray tube and positioned close to the electron beam on the beam reaching side (on the screen display side).
