PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device equipped with a simply structured eject lock mechanism which is comparatively small in the number of parts. SOLUTION: The DVD-ROM drive is provided with a drawer 1 that is freely insertable into or removable from the cabinet 2 with a lock pin 13 installed, a lock lever 14 rotatable to the lock position for engaging with the lock pin 13 so that the drawer 1 is held inside the cabinet 2, a lock spring 19 which presses the lever 14 to the lock position and which also presses a reset lever 15 so that it is fixed at a position capable of coming into contact with the pin 13, an eject spring 18 for the purpose of pressing the drawer 1 in the ejecting direction and also pressing the lever 14 so that it is moved from the lock position, and a solenoid 17 for generating a lock releasing force in the manner that the lever 14 is moved from the lock position by the spring 18 and that the drawer 1 is ejected from inside the cabinet 2.
