PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary spaces between effective display areas of respective plane-type display devices and to improve the display quality in the case where a large screen comprises a combination of the plural plane-type display devices such as PDPs, by improving each electrode arrangement structure. SOLUTION: A first bent part 2a is formed by bending at least one of left and right parts of a first substrate of each plane-type display device 1, and a first lead terminal for leading out a first electrode is disposed on the first bent part 2a. A second bent part 3a is formed by bending at least one of upper and lower parts of a second substrate, and a second lead terminal for leading out a second electrode is disposed on the second bent part 3a. Thereby, an unnecessary space in a display screen is reduced so that the ratio of an effective display area to the whole display screen is increased.
