PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve running durability in the wide temperature range from a low temperature to a high temperature by forming a nonmagnetic layer containing a nonmagnetic powder and a specified lubricant dispersed in a binder as a lower layer and a magnetic layer containing a ferromagnetic powder and an a binder and having a specified thickness as an upper layer on a nonmagnetic substrate. SOLUTION: The dry thickness of the magnetic layer is <=5μm. The lubricant contained in the nonmagnetic layer contains the ester of a 12-16C carboxylic acid such as myristic acid or palmitic acid and an alcohol of the formula (where R1 is a 5-10C aliphatic group and R2 is a 1-7C aliphatic group) such as 2- hexyldecyl alcohol. The ester content is preferably 4-12 wt.% of the amount of the nonmagnetic layer. The lubricant maintains flowability even at low temperature and ensures a small loss on evaporation in a hot atmosphere. The nonmagnetic inorganic powder is, e.g.α-iron oxide and the ferromagnetic powder is, e.g.γ-Fe2O3.
