PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bay window hardly exposed to the ingress of rain and capable of protecting privacy, ventilating and introducing the air by making a front sash of figured glass for interrupting the line of sight or the like, and forming the bay window as a projected window having a maximum opening angle limited to a preset range. SOLUTION: A fixed sash window 1 is provided at a front center and projected windows 2 and 3 are provided at both sides. Also, a fixed skylight window 4 is provided at the upper part. The side of a bay window is a wall material 5 and the lower surface of the bay window is a bottom plate 6. Frosted glass for interrupting the line of sight is fixed to each of the windows 1, 2, 3 and 4. The projected window 2 is approximately vertical in a closed state, and opens with a lower part projecting forward using the upper part of a sash 21 as a rotating shaft. A projecting device 22 is formed of a vertical plate material, a rotating arm material 223, a mounting plate material 224 or the like, and a stopper projected from the vertical plate material controls the maximum opening angle of a projected sash 21 at 25 degrees. The projected window 3 has also a similar structure. According to this construction, ventilation and air introduction can be made. In addition, the ingress of rain hardly takes place and privacy can be protected.
