PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that the charging speed of an integrating capacitor in 2nd integration differs from a normal value in such a case and to execute appropriate processing by monitoring whether or not 2nd integral time is within a specified time range. SOLUTION: When the time of the 2nd integration obtained based on an SOUT signal outputted from an integration circuit 16 is longer than an upper limit value (maximum 2nd integral time) within the specified time range, a CPU 19 detects it and turns off a switch 3 when the maximum 2nd integral time elapses, so that the 2nd integration is finished. The CPU 19 informs a photographer that range-finding is not normally performed by using display or a warning sound so as to urge the photographer to take appropriate measures. The CPU 19 reduces a range-finding error by obtaining the distance to a range-finding object based on the maximum 2nd integral time. |
