The motor-reduction unit has a screw and wheel gear to provide speed reduction, with the screw driven directly by the motor shaft (15) and the wheel driving a transmission shaft having a gear wheel delivering drive to the gear (26) on the exterior of the winding drum (11). The drive motor is reversible to allow raising and lowering of the shutter, but cannot be reversed by action on the shutter.
