A water repellant for automobile window glass comprising alkyl polysiloxane, an acidity adjusting agent, a water type solvent, and at least one of six components represented by the following general formula 1, 2, and 3 where X1, X2, and X3 are a long chain alkyl group having 16-50 carbon atoms, fluorine resins represented by the formula 4 and 5 and paraffin waxes where m1, m2 and m3 are integers in the range 10-500, n is 1-5, p is 500-1500 and q is 4-7.
