PURPOSE: A motor driving system is provided to remove a back-up power source unit which is necessary for the compensation of instant stoppage of electric current or stoppage of electric current, from the system. CONSTITUTION: An AC/DC converter(3) supplies a direct current to a DC/DC converter(6). The DC/DC converter converts the direct current output from the AC/DC converter into a direct current of a predetermined level and supplies the converted direct current to a central processing unit(7). A motor rotation number control unit (8, 9-1, 9-2, 9-N) is connected to the AC/DC converter and the central processing unit, respectively, and drives a motor(11) by the direct current supplied from the AC/DC converter in the normal state. When instant stoppage of electric current from the AC/CD converter occurs, the motor rotation number control unit receives a driving power source from the central processing unit to drive the motor.
