A rain water collection system which consists of an elongated collector member which has a longitudinal slit in a wall of the member which extends substantially the full length of the collector member. Various types of means can be utilised to attach the collector member to the roof in a manner that a portion of the periphery of the roof will extend into and terminate inside the collector member so that water discharged on the surface of the roof can drain into the collector member through the slit. |
