PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid matter discharging method and a liquid matter discharging controller advantageous for restraining the generation of a wave motion on the liquid surface of liquid matter generating when a returning operation of a housing container is executed. SOLUTION: A tilting operation which discharges a liquid matter from a housing container 1 by tilting the housing container 1 from a standby position K1 and returning operation which returns the housing container 1 to the standby position in a prescribed returning time accompanying the finish of discharging are executed by the use of the tiltable housing container 1 which houses the liquid matter and tilting devices 20, 21 which tilt the housing container 1. When a period of a main wave motion on the liquid surface of the liquid matter accompanying the returning operation of the housing container 1 is expressed by T, the returning time is specified based on [(n/2).T] (n is set at any one of 1, 3, 5).
